WHAT NATURE GIVES
...and what we can give back. At Regenera Sanctuary, we live in symbiosis with the natural environment. We produce most of our food in permaculture and forest gardens, we fish and breed some chicken. We plant rare trees and a variety of endangered botanic species. We restore coral reefs and teach visitors how to protect the ocean. Our houses are built with natural, local, biodegradable materials. We use little renewable energy, gas from our bio-digesters, we have dry toilets and produce our own natural burning fuels, we cook with biogas and local wood.
